A Roosevelt motorist who was not wearing her seat belt was killed Tuesday morning when she was ejected during a one-car crash on the Meadowbrook State Parkway in East Garden City, state police said.

Danielle Tippin, 24, was pronounced dead at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, police said.

Her front-seat passenger, Yesser Vanegas, 22, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said. Vanegas, of Copiague, was wearing his seat belt, police said.

Police said the crash occurred at 9:44 a.m. on the northbound parkway near Exit M3, the Merchants Concourse.

Tippin lost control of her Ford Explorer, causing it to roll over on the center median, police said, ejecting the driver.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
