Deaf, mute New Cassel man with Down syndrome found, say cops

A New Cassel man with Down syndrome who is also deaf and mute was found Monday after being reported missing the day before, Nassau police said.

Mohammed Saleem, 29, had been missing from his Elderberry Lane home since 5 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Police did not release other details on how Saleem was found.

Saleem had also been reported missing in February and was found about two days later.
