A Hicksville woman died after she was hit by a delivery truck late Friday morning in a Woodbury parking lot, police said.

Marilyn Ranschburg, 81, was a pedestrian in the lot at 8533 Jericho Tpke. at 11 a.m. when an eastbound 2010 International truck driven by a 43-year-old Flushing man struck her, Nassau County police said in a news release.

Ranschburg, who sustained a fractured hip, was taken to Syosset Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 12:35 p.m., police said.

"Detectives report no apparent criminality with the accident at this time," police said in a news release. "The vehicle was brake tested at the scene."

Police did not identify the driver.
