Cops: Deliveryman assaulted in Westbury
Four men assaulted a deliveryman from Golden Wok Kitchen as he attempted to deliver an order Friday night in Westbury, Nassau County police said.
The deliveryman, 49, was called to 426 King St. When he arrived at 9 p.m., a man who appeared from alongside the house punched him and demanded money,
Three other men joined in and took cash from the victim's pants and stole his 2004 Toyota Corolla.
The car was recovered about a half-mile away, in front of 537 Oxford St., police said. Police impounded the car.
The victim was not seriously injured.
The suspects are described as four men in their 20s.
