Cops: Deliveryman robbed in Freeport
First Squad detectives are looking for two men who robbed a food deliveryman Thursday in Freeport, Nassau County police said.
The man, 55, was delivering Chinese food to an address on Guy Lombardo Avenue at about 6:25 p.m. when two men approached him from behind, police said.
One of the attackers put the man in a chokehold and the other kicked him in the back, police said.
The two assailants told the man to give up his money, and then one of the men reached into the man's pockets, removing an unspecified amount of cash. Both suspects fled north on Guy Lombardo Avenue.
Police said the victim was not injured in the attack.
Police ask anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
