Two Plainview men face drug charges after Second Squad officers responded to an emergency call at a Syosset supermarket Tuesday, Nassau County police said.

Officers responding to a call of suspicious men sitting inside a black BMW loading guns instead found Oscar Diaz, 23, of 47 Westbury Ave., and Joshua Sporn, 22, of 23 Margaret Dr., with controlled substances, police said in a news release.

The two were arrested in the parking lot of the King Kullen store at 271 Jericho Tpke. at about 3:25 p.m., police said.

Diaz is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.

Sporn is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 13.
