A Queens man faces charges of felony driving while intoxicated, criminal impersonation, felony unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and traffic infractions after being stopped by state police Saturday on the Southern State Parkway in North Valley Stream.

Police said Xavier Martinez, 30, of Queens Village, provided a breath sample that registered an .11 percent blood-alcohol content -- and said he had a conviction just last month.

The latest incident occurred at 6:25 a.m. on the eastbound Southern State near Exit 14, Fletcher Avenue. Police said the trooper initiated a traffic stop on the black Toyota after noting "multiple traffic violations" by Martinez.

Police said when the trooper asked Martinez for identification he said he did not have identification with him -- and then gave the trooper a fake name. All charges are returnable to First District Court in Hempstead at a later date.
