Two robbers tied up a Federal Express driver in Lynbrook on Tuesday and took off with about 60 packages, Lynbrook police said.
The suspects, including one with a gun, confronted the driver as he was making deliveries on Lester Avenue, near Arthur Avenue, Nassau and Lynbrook police said.
The gunman stole the victim's cellphone and wallet, authorities said.
They ordered him to sit in the cargo area of the truck and bound him with plastic ties, authorities said.
The suspects took the packages, and the delivery man then heard a vehicle drive off, but could not see the getaway vehicle, Lynbrook police said.
The driver was not injured, authorities said.
Nassau detectives are handling the case.
