Four Nassau County men have been arraigned on burglary charges after allegedly stealing assorted cellphones and iPads from five electronics stores between November 2010 and January of this year, police said Tuesday.

In a news release, Nassau County's Third Squad reported the arrests of the four men, three from Freeport, on multiple counts of burglary.

Police identified the men as:

Valon Vailes, 19, of 590 Fulton Ave., Hempstead, arrested Jan. 11.

Charles Siebert, 18, of 29 N. Columbus Ave., Freeport, arrested July 11.

Kareem Edney 19, of 103 Rutland Rd., Freeport, arrested July 12.

Trevon Thompson 18, of 64 Hillside Ave., Freeport, arrested July 12.

Police neither provided details of the alleged break-ins nor did they have a value for the items stolen.

The first of the five burglaries occurred Nov. 28 of last year at an AT&T store in Cedarhurst, police said. The final break-in was Jan. 3, at an Old Westbury Verizon store.

The release said all four had been arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead. Thompson and Siebert are scheduled to return to court July 19, Vailes on July 20, and Edney on Aug. 2.
