A man wanted on two counts of second-degree murder in Florida was arrested Tuesday in Rockville Centre, Nassau County police said.

Nassau's Fugitive Squad and members of the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Bryan Caldwell, 23, at a home on Vincent Street at about 7:55 a.m., police said.

Caldwell has "no known address" in Florida but is wanted on a warrant issued in Pinellas County, Fla., Nassau police said.

A spokeswoman for the Clearwater Police Department in Florida said Caldwell is wanted for a double homicide on April 3, 2011.

A news release Clearwater police said Caldwell shot to death two men, Derrick Harris and William Hamilton, in a crowd of about 40 people.

Sandra Wilson, deputy chief of the Clearwater police, called the arrest "a collaborative effort" between her department and U.S. Marshals Service.

Caldwell also is wanted for felony violation of parole, the spokesman said.

Caldwell was scheduled to appear Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead. He's being held at Nassau County Correctional Facility. No bail was set.
