The second of two men who police said robbed a 77-year-old woman last month in Rockville Centre was arrested Sunday, charged with the crime.

Dennis Petty, 46, of 169 Brooklyn Ave., Westbury, drove the getaway car, Nassau County police said. He was charged with second-degree robbery -- and now faces arraignment Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said an accomplice, Michael White, 46, of 57 Bennington Ave., Freeport, was arrested on Oct. 25 and charged with second-degree robbery.

He was arraigned on Oct. 26 and court records indicate he was ordered held on $200,000 bond or $100,000 cash bail.

He is due back in court Wednesday, according to records.

Police said White, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, approached the victim at 11:15 p.m. Oct. 15, as she sat in her car in front of her Lehigh Court home and "ripped the victim's pocketbook" from her arm. He then fled north on foot before entering the getaway car.

Police said investigators determined Petty drove that car.

Police said Petty and White were caught after investigators linked the two to the "use and attempted use" of the victim's stolen credit cards.
