Three cars were broken into in Franklin Square, police said.

Nassau County police said they received a call from a 44-year-old man who said he had parked his 2006 Honda Civic at 9:50 p.m. on Friday. When he returned Saturday afternoon, he discovered that someone had ransacked his vehicle, though nothing was taken.

Shortly after, police were called to two homes on Frame Street, where someone had gotten into an unlocked 2003 Hyundai and 2012 Nissan, stealing a GPS unit from each car.

Detectives request anyone with information on this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
