Cops: Gunmen beat pair in East Meadow home

Masked gunmen pistol whipped two people, causing head and face fractures during a robbery at an East Meadow home Tuesday morning, Nassau police said.

Four to six men, armed with handguns, entered through an unlocked front door on Woods Avenue about 2 a.m. and demanded money from the six people there, police said.

After taking cash and a laptop computer, the gunmen fled in a dark-colored car traveling east, police said.
