Cops: Gunmen rob teens on street

Two teens were robbed by two gun-toting robbers as they walked along a main street in North Massapequa early Friday, police said.

The female teens, ages 17 and 18, were not injured.

Nassau County police said the armed robbery took place on Broadway near North Boston Avenue just before 3 a.m.

The gunmen stole two backpacks, two cellphones and a wallet, police said, then fled on foot. Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
