Third Squad detectives are investigating graffiti on a door at the Roosevelt Field mall as a bias incident, Nassau County police said Wednesday.

Police said they found an anti-Semitic phrase and a swastika written in red lip balm on a door in a service corridor of the East Garden City shopping complex at about 3:50 p.m. on New Year's Day.

The graffiti was about 24 inches high and 18 inches long, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
