Cops: Health aide used client's credit card
A health care aide was arrested Friday and charged with making more than $1,650 worth of unauthorized jewelry and gasoline purchases with a credit card that belonged to one of her clients, Nassau police said.
Constance Goodman, 46, of 82 Twig Lane, Levittown, was arrested at her home, where detectives said they discovered several envelopes containing heroin. Officers also found at the time of the arrest jewelry in Goodman's possession that belonged to the 62-year-old victim from Williston Park, police said.
Goodman was charged with grand larceny, forgery, identity theft and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
She was to be arraigned Saturday in First District Court, Mineola.
