<a href="/topics/Nassau_County%2C_NY">Nassau</a> County police Tuesday identified the man found slain in a parking lot Sunday as Jose <a href="/topics/Jose_Romero">Romero</a>, 31, of Roosevelt, police said. 
 Homicide Squad detectives are still investigating the death. Police said Romero was found in the lot at 338 <a href="/topics/Nassau_County%2C_NY">Nassau</a> Rd. in Roosevelt after an altercation at 7:10 p.m. 
 He was transported to <a href="/topics/Nassau_University_Medical_Center">Nassau University Medical Center</a> in <a href="/topics/East_Meadow%2C_NY">East Meadow</a>, where he was pronounced dead at 9:27 p.m. 
 A police spokesman said Monday that Romero died of the cuts but could not provide additional details. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
