Police have released surveillance video of a man investigators said walked into a CVS pharmacy in Massapequa in September, poured gasoline onto a greeting card display and lit the rack on fire.
One employee suffered "respiratory distress" and was treated at a local hospital, police said. Nothing was stolen.
Nassau County police said they are still searching for the arsonist and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the CVS on Broadway, police said. Police said the man, believed to be about 5-foot-9 and in his early 20s, walked into the pharmacy, went to the greeting card display rack and lit the fire.
Employees quickly doused the blaze, police said.
Police said there were about 30 customers and 10 employees in the store at the time.
The suspect fled on foot east on Veteran's Boulevard and then on Ocean Avenue.
