Cops investigate body found in Roosevelt
Nassau County police said Saturday they are continuing to investigate a dead body discovered in Roosevelt.
The body was found Thursday at 3:14 p.m. off the east end of Frederick Avenue in a wooded area that abuts the Meadowbrook State Parkway.
The body was taken to the county medical examiner's office.
Police did not release any other details, citing an active investigation.
Newsday previously reported the body was found on Friday.
