Cops investigate bullet into Roosevelt home
Police are investigating a shots-fired incident in Roosevelt that resulted in someone firing a bullet into a house on Cottage Place on Saturday.
No one was injured.
Nassau County police said a 48-year-old woman was in the house when she "heard a bang noise outside" at about 6 p.m. -- then "saw dust kick up" inside of her home. Upon inspection, police said the woman found "a small hole" in the wall behind her television.
She called police.
Responding First Precinct officers determined someone had fired a shot into the home.
No shell casings were recovered from the scene.
