Cops: Man arrested at Roosevelt Field; advertised anti-anxiety pills on Craigslist
A Queens man was arrested and charged with selling drugs in East Garden City Wednesday after he advertised anti-anxiety pills for sale on the Internet, police said.
Michael Ohara, 24, of Bayside, was charged with fifth degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Ohara advertised on Craigslist that he had anti-anxiety pills for sale, police said, and detectives arranged a meeting with him at Dick's Sporting Goods at the Roosevelt Field mall.
He was arrested after he produced 30 yellow pills believed to be Alprazolam, a controlled substance, police said, adding that additional pills were found in his vehicle.
Ohara was to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court, Hempstead.
