A Lindenhurst man was arrested on Saturday night after he forced a kiss on a girl, 13, at a Massapequa mall, then exchanged explicit pictures with her, Nassau police said.

Police said Rashid M. Aziz, 25, talked to the 13-year-old victim on Aug. 9 at the Sunrise Mall, giving her a cigarette before forcibly holding her arms and kissing her while she protested.

Aziz, who had obtained the girl's telephone number, texted her later that day and persuaded her to send sexually explicit photos of herself to his cellphone, police said.

The victim complied, sending the explicit photo, and Aziz responded by sending an explicit photo of himself, police said.

Last Wednesday, the victim contacted police to report the incident.

Aziz was arrested at the Sunrise Mall at 10 p.m. Saturday and charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor, possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child, unlawful imprisonment, forcible touching and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

He was scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
