A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged Wednesday with a Syosset store burglary and stealing a car in Jericho, police said.

Sediq Ghafoori, who has no known address, was charged with third degree grand larceny and third degree burglary, Nassau police said.

A Highway Patrol officer discovered Ghafoori at 6:20 a.m. with the car on the westbound Long Island Expressway at Exit 43, police said.

Ghafoori was charged with stealing the 2010 Nissan Rogue from a Shell Station at 460 Jericho Typke. in Jericho on Tuesday. He was also charged with burglarizing a Parts Plus auto store on Robins Lane in Syosset at about 4:25 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
