Cops: Man burned in kitchen grease fire

A man sustained burns to his head, neck and arms in a kitchen grease fire Friday afternoon in South Floral Park, Nassau police said.

The man was taken by police helicopter for treatment to the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, police said.

South Floral Park and Floral Park responded to a call of a small fire at a residence at 275 Roquette Ave., about 3:15 p.m., officials said.

No information was immediately available concerning the injured man's identity or condition.
