Cops: Man caught driving stolen motorcycle

A Deer Park man has been arrested on charges he was driving a stolen motorcycle in North Wantagh Tuesday without a driver's license, State Police said Wednesday.

Troopers spotted Dean Nunez, 23, riding a motorcycle eastbound on the Southern State Parkway east of the Wantagh Parkway at about 6:21 p.m., police said.

Nunez was pulled over for driving "between lanes," police said.

Troopers then discovered that Nunez was driving without a license and the 2007 Suzuki he was riding was reported stolen, police said.

Nunez is charged with criminal possession of stolen property, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and traffic violations.

His arraignment information at First District Court in Hempstead was not immediately available.
