A Hempstead man first stole an iPod, computers and a video-game system from a Hempstead home then returned to confront the resident with a knife, Nassau County police said.

Police arrested DeAndre Moore, 17, of 139 Stewart Ave., Monday after he took the electronic items from a house last Thursday then returned later that day, displaying a knife at one of the residents of the Lent Avenue house, police said.

Moore is charged with burglary and menacing and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
