Cops: Man charged with drug possession
A 21-year-old Plainview man was arrested after Nassau County probation officers and police conducted an investigation at his home as part of his probation conditions -- and found drugs, police said.
Nassau police said Justin Kolmer was arrested Saturday at 8:50 a.m. after officers discovered "a multiple assortment of controlled substances."
Kolmer was charged with fifth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
He was arraigned Monday in First District Court in Hempstead. Records indicate he is due back in court Wednesday.
