Cops: Man faces burglary charges after stealing watch, cash from Syosset home
A Manhattan man faces burglary charges after stealing a watch and money from a Syosset home, Nassau County police said Tuesday.
Vincent Yi, 24, of 230 West 107th St., got into an Underhill Avenue home through an unlocked kitchen door last Wednesday, police said.
He then forced open a locked bedroom door where he took a Tag Heuer watch and an unspecified amount of cash, police said.
Yi fled on foot, police said, but a witness saw him.
After an investigation, police arrested Yi in Woodbury on Tuesday.
Yi is charged with second-degree burglary and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
