Cops: Man found bleeding in Roosevelt yard
Police investigators are trying to determine what happened to a man who was found, seriously injured, unconscious and bleeding Friday morning in the back yard of a Roosevelt home.
Nassau County police said a 911 caller reported finding the man at 9:45 a.m. in the backyard of a group home on Debevoise Avenue where he sometimes stayed. He was transported to a hospital, police said.
It was not clear what happened to the 45-year-old man, but police said they suspect he is the victim of a crime.
