A Franklin Square man was arrested Tuesday and charged with presenting a phony drug prescription at a Syosset pharmacy in November, police said.

Daniele Ferrante, 40, of 808 Franklin Place, was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, police said.

Ferrante presented the prescription at the Linden Care pharmacy on Nov. 29, Nassau police said. Information as to whether he received drugs from the pharmacy was not immediately available from detectives.

Arrested in Franklin Square, Ferrante was to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
