Cops: Man in Roosevelt robbed by bicyclists
A man was assaulted and robbed by a group of men as he walked down a Roosevelt street early Sunday morning, Nassau County police said.
The 36-year-old victim was walking on Ellison Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. when police said five or six men on bicycles approached him and began hitting and kicking him.
The victim fell, and one of the men took the victim's wallet out of the pocket before the group rode away on Nassau Road, police said.
The victim refused medical attention.
