Cops: Man menaced driver plowing snow into his driveway

A Manorhaven man "racked" his shotgun Sunday night at two men he accused of plowing snow from a neighboring property onto his home, Nassau police said.
Raymond Hounigringer, 49, who lives at 30 Matinecock Ave., was arraigned Monday on two counts of second-degree menacing and fourth-degree possession of a dangerous weapon. He was held pending bail of $500 cash or $1,000 bond.
Police said the private parking lot at 25 Matinecock Ave. was being cleared by a truck with a plow, operated by the driver, 34, and his passenger, 22, when Hounigringer approached them about 6:40 p.m.
The victims said Hounigringer was irate that snow was being plowed onto his property and he threatened to shoot the truck and the two men, police said.
Before returning to his home, police said, Hounigringer pulled back the slide on his weapon, which puts a bullet in the chamber.
Officers responding to the victims' 911 call went to Hounigringer's home and arrested him without incident. The shotgun was recovered in his home, police said.
