The victim was riding his mountain bike on Grenada Avenue about 1:30 p.m. when he was approached by the two assailants, also on bicycles, police said in a news release.

Both robbers threw the victim to the ground, stealing his wallet and cellphone from his pocket, police said. The suspects then fled east on Grenada Avenue with the victim's bike.

Police didn't disclose how much money the robbers took. No injuries were reported.
