Cops: Man robbed on Bedell St. in Freeport

Nassau County police are searching for two suspects who robbed a man on Bedell Street in Freeport late Monday.

The victim, 31, was walking near Stillwell Place at about 10:10 p.m. when the two suspects approached him and demanded his property, police said.

The victim turned over his cellphone and an unspecified amount of cash; the two suspects then ran north on Bedell Street police said.

No one was injured, police said.
