An East Meadow bank was robbed Monday by a man who handed a teller a note demanding money, Nassau police said.

Three employees were in the Roslyn Savings Bank, 1897 Front St. at 6:27 p.m., when the robbery took place, police said. There were no reported injuries.

The man, who was described to police as 50 years old, 6 feet, 1-inch tall, and wearing a black baseball cap, black bubble-type vest and a black hooded sweatshirt, fled with an unspecified amount of cash, police said.

Detectives asked that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
