Cops: Man robs New Hyde Park 7-Eleven

Nassau County police are investigating a robbery of a 7-Eleven store in New Hyde Park early Saturday, officials said Monday.
According to Third Squad detectives, at about 3:10 a.m., a man, described as 6 feet tall with a thin build, approached a 23-year-old male clerk at the register of the store at 1599 Hillside Ave. and demanded money. The clerk complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and two packs of cigarettes. The suspect fled.
Police said anyone with information could call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
