Cops: Man shot Friday morning in Inwood

Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Inwood that left one man hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries on Friday.

The identity of the victim has not been released. Nassau County police said no arrests have been made.

Police said the shooting occurred at about 1 a.m. near an apartment complex on Bayview Avenue. It was not clear how many shots were fired.

Police said the victim was struck once in the leg.
