Nassau County police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Hicksville on Saturday morning.

Police said shortly before 9 a.m., a man entered the TD Bank branch at 225 North Broadway, and passed the teller a note stating he had a gun and demanding cash. The teller, a 33-year-old man, complied, and the subject then fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said. The suspect is described as wearing a black-hooded jacket and a blue hat, police said.

Police said there were no injuries. There were four customers and three employees in the bank at the time of the robbery.
