Cops: Man stole money from former employer
A Bayville man was arrested Thursday, when he sneaked into his former employer's building and stole money from the cash register, Nassau police said.
Thomas Parisi, 20, who once worked for Evolution Fitness Gym, 138 South St., Oyster Bay, used a key that had been issued to him when he worked there to enter the gym on Wednesday and again on Thursday at 1:43 a.m., police said in a news release. An employee spotted Parisi on Thursday and called police.
He stole an undetermined amount of money on Wednesday, police said.
Parisi was arraigned Thursday on two counts of third-degree burglary in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
