Cops: Man with knife robs Chinese restaurant in Valley Stream

Nassau police are looking for a man who robbed a Chinese restaurant in Valley Stream on Wednesday night.

Police said the man entered the Dragon Garden restaurant at 105 Rockaway Ave. at 8:45 p.m., wielded a large kitchen knife and demanded a male employee open the store's cash register. After it was opened, the robber removed the cash drawer and fled, police said. No one was hurt in the robbery.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask and white gloves, police said. He was last seen running east on East Fairview Avenue.
