Cops: Melville teen accused of distributing child porn

A Melville teen was arrested Friday for distributing child pornography through his email account about four months ago, Nassau County police said.
Jack Roach, 19, was taken into custody at 11 a.m. for promoting the sexual performance of a child. AOL alerted authorities in May that an email account originating in Farmingdale was used to send child pornography of a female engaged in sex acts, police said.
Roach is charged with two counts of promoting the sexual performance of a child. He will be arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
