A Bethpage woman with psychiatric problems who was reported missing Halloween night returned home on her own, police said Tuesday, and is in good physical condition.

June Young, 49, who takes medication for obsessive-compulsive disorder and paranoia, was apparently not the victim of any crime, Nassau Police said. Nassau Police had issued a Silver Alert after the woman had failed to return home.

An older sister had said she feared that Young, who took daily walks to morning Mass and in Bethpage State Park, might have been "easy prey" because her routine was so established. Searches were organized to try to find her.
