A New Cassel man was arrested Saturday on charges that he sold what police believe to be marijuana and cocaine in front of his home, Nassau County police said.

Police said they observed Jordlin Charles, 21, of 935 Prospect Ave., conduct three separate drug transactions Saturday. Police found a large clear plastic bag containing what they suspect is marijuana and four bags of what they suspect to be cocaine from the house, police said.

The defendant was arrested at 9:40 p.m. and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal sale of marijuana and criminal possession of marijuana. Charles was scheduled to be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
