After obtaining an unspecified amount of money, the man left the Roslyn Savings Bank at 1114 Jericho Tpke. shortly after 1 p.m., police said, and headed south on foot on South 12th Street.

Six employees and one customer were in the bank at the time of the robbery, Nassau police said. No one was reported injured, police said.

The bank robber, 6 feet tall and about 40 years old, was wearing a green camouflage T-shirt and a dark baseball cap with a Mercedes-Benz logo, police said.

Detectives asked that anyone with information about the robbery contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
