A school bus carrying five children was involved in an early morning accident Tuesday in Baldwin, but police said no one was injured.

The accident occurred at about 7:46 a.m. on Grand Avenue at Stanton Avenue.

Nassau County police said they could not immediately provide the name of the bus company -- or the name of the school where the students were headed. Police also could not provide the ages of the children involved, but said they were taken for observation to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside.
