After responding to a call to the Lucky 7 convenience store at 2664 Long Beach Rd. at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, police said they found the front glass door smashed and then discovered Patrick McHale, 20, of 2638 Locust Ave., Oceanside, inside the building.
Two other men had fled the scene with a laptop computer and an undisclosed amount of cigarettes, police said.
McHale was charged with burglary and criminal mischief. His arraignment information was not immediately available.
