Two Nassau County residents face charges of heroin possession and possession of stolen property, police said Monday.

Daniel C. Bonanno, 25, of 79 Massapequa Ave., Massapequa, and Leah M. Freitag, 22, of 180 First Ave., Massapequa Park, are each charged with four counts of criminal possession of stolen property, three counts of criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic needle, Nassau County police said.

They are scheduled to be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Seventh Squad detectives said the two were sitting in a parked car in possession of heroin in front of Bonanno's address at about 2:10 a.m. Sunday.

Officers in a patrol car investigated and found them also to be in possession of several items of stolen property, including credit cards, laptop computers and global positioning systems, according to a news release from police.
