Cops: Pair of robbers steal from phone store in Massapequa Park

A pair of thieves -- one armed with a gun -- stole cellphones from an AT&T store in Massapequa Park Monday night, Nassau police said.

A man armed with a handgun entered the store at 450 Sunrise Highway about 9:10 p.m. and ordered two employees to the rear office of the store, police said. He was wearing a cloth mask, a dark color hooded style sweatshirt and gloves, police said.

Another robber entered the store and took "an undetermined amount of cellphones" and fled, police said. Police were unable to get a description for the other one.

The victims, a man, 23, and a woman, 25, stayed in the office during the robbery, police said.
