A pizza delivery man was robbed as he made a delivery in Hempstead early Sunday morning, Nassau police said.

The victim, a 26-year-old employee of Papa John's, was making a delivery on Seaman Avenue at about 12:35 a.m. when three men approached him, police said. Two of them emerged from the side of the house.

One of the men put a knife to the delivery man's head and demanded his valuables, police said. After procuring the victim's credit cards and cash, the men -- all wearing dark clothing -- then ran west on Delaware Place.

The delivery man was not injured.

Police ask anyone with information on this case to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
