A Plainview bank was robbed Thursday afternoon, Nassau County Police said.

The suspect, believed to be between 45 and 55 years old, walked into the TD Bank at 500 Old Country Rd. and gave the teller a note demanding cash.

Authorities were called to the scene at 2:55 p.m. Nine employees were in the building during the robbery, but no injuries were reported, officers said.

After taking an undetermined amount of cash, the assailant left on foot through the parking lot, heading east behind the bank, police said.
